I'm in AFRICA.
Whoa.
We're settled into temporary housing at a Christian school at the moment. Our host, Dr. K, was with us on Wed. and Thurs., and showed us how to do most things around the area. We got bikes; they are semi-functional at the moment :/ The kids follow us wherever we go and want to hold our hands the whole way! They are EVERYWHERE. They yell, "Mzungu!! Mzungu!! How are you??" I am once again a spectacle, just like in Korea! I'm normal somewhere, I swear!
Adjustment periods are always difficult, so I would covet your prayers during this time, both for myself and for my teammates. I love and miss you all, more blogs to come soon!
Also, my support needs to be complete by December 1st, and I'm still a little short, so if its in your heart to help me monetarily, I would LOVE that! You can donate by clicking the Support Me! link on the left side of this page.
Much love!
Jess
